Cablenet Communication Systems PLC seeks to recruit a full-time person for the following career opportunity based in Nicosia:
Network Systems Engineer (NSE0917)
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain and optimise virtual infrastructure
- Manage network infrastructure servers, virtual machines and storage devices
- Manage backup jobs, monitoring, restorations and disaster recovery
- Support IP Network Team in routine tasks and maintenances
- Participate in Standby Engineer Roster
- Document activities in clear and concise manner
- Produce reports as required by management
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science or related subject
- Previous experience of 2-3 years in VMWare ESXi and vSphere
- Previous experience of 2-3 years in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows 2008/2012/2016 environments
- Previous experience in deploying and handling storage and/or backup systems is desired
- VMWare related certificates are not required, but will be considered as advantage
- Cisco Certified Network Associate is not required but strongly desired
- Very good knowledge of both English and Greek language
