Cablenet is seeking to hire a Financial Analyst based in Nicosia. The ideal candidate will have the overall responsibility of researching and analyzing financial information to help company make well informed decisions towards achieving company goals. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement budget and planning process
- Manage forecasts and reporting to the executive team
- Participate in the development of finance roadmap projects and policies
- Αnalyze data requests to inform decisions
- Analyze data to assess potential impact across all business lines and make data driven
recommendations based on test results
- Perform break even and cost/benefit analysis
- Support revenue recognition, web analytics and competitor analysis and research
- Support operations with ROI and cost analysis
- Analyze daily, weekly and monthly business metrics and trends
- Continuously identify process improvements to achieve company goals efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar majors.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Accounting background or expertise in the principles of accounting and understanding of basic financial concepts and financial reporting
- Familiarity with BI analytics software (e.g. SAS)
- Experience in compliance and controls is a plus
- Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple or changing priorities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Computer literate with proven focus on Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Greek and English
