Cablenet announces its participation in three EU programs

Cablenet’s primary line of business is the direct application of technology in a field that evolves rapidly, where consumer devices are even more capable, mobility is the name of the game and offering practical solutions to users’ needs requires navigating a complex maze of competing standards, regulations and interoperability challenges. We gladly accept the challenge and strongly believe that early involvement in the process that drives technology and the marketplace forward is key.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce our full participation in three EU-funded applied research programs:

CyberSure aims to apply theoretical research in the area of information security to the development of a practical framework for creating and managing cyber insurance policies. It is a multidisciplinary topic, making use of computer science, information security and actuarial expertise.

Ideal Cities aims to provide a novel, open and extensible platform to enable the secure and resilient acquisition and sharing of information that is collected by individual citizens and/or authorities, through the use of networked sensors / Internet of Things (IoT) in a Smart City context.

CE-IoT will develop an innovative framework of interplay between the Circular Economy and IoT, to explore novel ways in which this interaction can drastically change the nature of products, services, business models and ecosystems.

The three projects have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 / Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (H2020-MSCA-RISE-2017) framework, under grant agreements 777855, 778229, and 734815.
